The NWPA-ASA was lucky to have another wonderful day on which to hold the 3^rdAnnual Erie Walk for Autism. We estimate that there was close to 1,000 participants - so many that we may have to consider alternate parking arrangements next year! The event brought in well over $32,000, despite a tough economic year in the Erie region. These funds will be used to support national research, as well as several local projects. We are especially grateful to our sponsors and numerous volunteers. Parents and families of individuals with autism are continually amazed by the generosity of the Northwestern Pennsylvania communities. Mark your calendars for the NWPA-ASA’s 2005 Walk for Autism, which will be held on Saturday, April 23rd. See you there!
